The purple jerry Story

purple jerry was incarnated in 2015, the same year the Grateful Dead gently turned a half century. He was conceived when Catman became impaled by the notion that he should craft something to bring joy to his sisters and brothers. By a simple twist of fate, it depicts Jerry in one of his finest manifestations: young, spry, generous, and with a little smirk on his face.

It reminds us of everything Jerry gave us with his music, his spirit, and his grace.

Every one of Jerry's eras was a gift to everyone who loved him, and the moment shown here, the mid 1970s, is one of the more luminous and satisfying epochs in his epic life.
